Regelmässig dienstags präsentieren bei uns PROGR-Menschen ihre Favourite-Songs ab Konserve. Keine klassische Party soll das werden, viel mehr so, als würden sich gute Freund:innen zu Hause im Wohnzimmer gegenseitig Lieblingsmusik vorspielen.

Simon Walker studierte Sound Arts und schloss einen Masterstudiengang in Contemporary Arts an der HKB ab. Er gehört zum Team des Kino Kosova Film Festivals, wo er für die technische Unterstützung zuständig ist.

Somewhere between rhythm and intuition, the selection of music unfolds as a carefully composed drift through sound - a selection that moves across genres, textures, and moods, never random, always intentional. Each track is placed like a thought you didn’t know you had, yet somehow recognize.

Perfect funk is jazz and we ain’t playing jazz. But maybe we’re circling around it, touching its edges, borrowing its freedom, bending it into something else. Something looser. Something that resists definition.
